December 2015

What's New With Us?
Colton and I: We've been trying out new hobbies and doing different activities together during the littles nap times. It's been fun to try out new and different things.

Paige: Paige's biggest change this month has been how much more she talks now. We've lost count of how many things this silly girl can say. We sure love our Paigey girl. She makes us laugh constantly.

Jade: She's still just being the world's best baby. She loves to sleep and be cuddled. I don't mind one bit. She's now trying to sit up on her own... Which I'm not ready for. She needs to stay my tiny baby longer. I'm enjoying the baby phase way too much.

2015: This year has brought us lots of change and growth... Literally, I grew a whole human this year. I can't imagine our year being any better than it was. Colton and I have been talking a lot about our last year and I told him this has been my favorite year for so many reasons.  The main reason is I've been with the most supportive, loving and caring man by my side for over 6 years now. Together, we've added 2 little girls to our family who have blessed us with indescribable amounts of love and happiness. It's not all rainbows and butterflies but those hard and difficult times are the things that make the good times that much sweeter. Colton and I have been fortunate this year to make lots of new friends that came with buying and moving into our first house. One friend in particular I'm especially grateful for. She's the Yang to my Grey and my "person" (if you get that reference I like you a million times more because of it). I'm excited to see what 2016 brings us! I joke with Colton and tell him I hope 2016 gives us a break from having babies because 2014 and 2015 both brought babies. Maybe we'll add another in like 2020 ;)

Her favorite activity, snuggling after nursing

Literal dog pile

Buggie ride at Grandma and Grandpa's Farm after visiting dad at work for lunch

Safe to say, she loves baths

Still fake crying to get her way

Sister kisses

Ward Christmas Party 12/4

12/5 Colton and I took the girls to the zoo! There was hardly anyone there. We just let this little monkey off her leash to run around. She did awesome! *She thought this tiger statue was real and wouldn't touch it at first. Super hilarious.

New Isle of the Tiger at the PHX Zoo

Saying "Rawr" haha!

Mama and Paige

She had to check EVERYTHING out.

She could care less about the elephant, she just wanted the giant ball in the water haha

So cool to watch the jaguar up and moving around

This little miss enjoyed the zoo too mostly because she got a few hours of staring at mom. haha!

Happiest baby around, melts my heart

This wooden bridge with the crocodiles gave me nightmares as a kid. So terrifying. A bit nerve wracking now with kids, hence my death grip on her. haha! No kid of mine will get eaten by a croc

Obsessed with water, just before she tried getting in.

Convinced he was a real monkey. haha!

Trying to figure out why he wasn't making noise.

Sometimes, this is the best photo you can get with your girls. haha!

Kisses from dad.. nah, popcorn!

She did awesome holding my hand and walking around. :)

New dress from Grandma

Happy Girl

I tried taking away her Minnie Mouse. haha!

12/7 for FHE we went to the Mesa Temple Lights and food trucks.

Paige wanted out to run around saying "whoa!" to everything.

My girls. Dressed in semi-matching outfits, not on purpose.

She is obsessed with Minnie and Mickey right now.

If you look close, you can see that she's trying to put on her Minnie doll's tiny shoes. haha!

December weather has been crazy! This was right before my Friday run where I got dumped on with rain

She came over and wanted me to put this on her head.. Well, alright then!

With cousin Rayleigh at Grandma and Grandpa's for Sunday dinner

Rainy days mean jammies all day and hot chocolate.

and they apparently mean naps, lots of naps. haha!

Watching Care Bears before nap

She got to join us at the table for dinner. She was pretty excited.

Teach them young the delicious ways of making cookies

I literally sit and snuggle her for a couple hours every day. It's fast approaching when she won't want to or will be too busy and I'll miss our special time together.

Paige's new favorite activity, sorting my DoTerra oils

and smelling them. haha!

My little book worm.

When your little sister has a nose and you can't stop touching it.

Riverview Park

She loves slides

This how she "plays" at the park, she watches dad play and smiles

Seriously, how did we get the world's happiest baby!?

When your sister...

Makes you play harmonica

Love my blue eyed girl.

12/21/15 Family Home Evening- it started out great and ended with...

Paige just eating big bites out of everything. haha!

Checking to make sure the neighbors cats are outside still.

Chick Fil A Cone, we went to lunch with my sister in law Tiffani and her 3 kids :)

I love her crazy hair. haha

Babies look so peaceful when they sleep.

Snuggling with cousin Rayleigh at my Aunt Michele's house 12/27

Park day!

12/29 we took the girls to the Arizona Museum of Natural History with my sister and her kids and their friends.

Panning for Gold

After I work out, she wants to sit on my lap and drink my protein shake.

12/31- My mom's birthday! My dad started a tradition of planning a fun activity for the "adults" in the family. We leave all the kids with sitters and just go out and do something fun with my siblings and their spouses. We've done some fun things! This year, we went and did a zipline at the Superstitions and panned for gold. After, we had lunch made by the best cook around (my grandma), watched my mom open her gifts and then did our annual white elephant gift exchange. I don't think I laugh as much in a single day in the entire year more than this day. It's the best tradition to end the year on. :)

My family :)

This little got to tag along on our Dec 31st activity this year since she's still too little to leave behind for that long. It tired her out watching us have that much fun.
