Well, I'm glad that worry didn't hold us back because Paige did AMAZING on the flight and on the whole trip. Picture the best case scenario and times that by 100 and that's how well she did! She fell asleep, both on the flight there and back, before we even took off, she slept on my lap the entire time and woke up as the pilot was telling us we were preparing to land.
We have a baby who loves to socialize... I'm not kidding, she had people stopping us in the airport and on the plane because she was "talking" at them, smiling and kicking her feet. Ok, now that I'm done bragging about my well behaved, fun baby....
Friday, September 19th, we flew to Fort Worth to attend the Extreme Mustang Makeover Finals that weekend. After we got to Texas and got settled in, we headed to events and spent the rest of the day in the arena checking everything out. By the time we all went to sleep that night, we were pretty much dead tired. Paige slept 12.5 hours! haha!
Sunday, we woke up and went to the Stock Yards for a few hours before catching out flight back home. We did some shopping, watched a cattle drive, I tricked Colton into getting on a bull so Paige could take her picture on one and we ate some food before leaving to the airport. Colton told me, "this place must be heaven for your mom because she loves this stuff!" and it's so true. The whole weekend was my mom in her "natural horse habitat" ;)
I'm grateful for a husband who will travel to weird places with me on trips I plan last minute. He's always such a great sport and the BEST traveler to go places with. It was fun going back to Texas because we went to San Antonio for our "first" honeymoon.
